Thai- Japanese Business Matching slated for August 30-31 in Bangkok

"Software Industry Promotion Agency (Public Organization), The Department of Export Promotion, and Digital Content Association of Japan (DCAJ) are jointly organizing Thai-Japanese Business Matching (DC) 2011. The event will be held on August 30-31, 2011 at Swissotel Le Concord Hotel, Ratchadapisek, Bangkok.
The event will be bringing 17 Japanese Digital Content Companies from both Tokyo and Osaka to Thailand to do business matchmaking with Thai companies, and also visit some famous digital content studios in Bangkok to promote capacity of Thai creativity.

In a Special Lecture session all participants will have an opportunity to meet Mr.Eddie Suzuki from DCAJ, Mr. Yusuke Nakabayashi- Consultant from Nomura Research Institute (NRI) and Mr.Ryuta Shiiki- Advisor to the Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture to gain insights of Japan Content Market, Business trend and chance in Asia and How to Promote Content in the Global Market."  

Talking to Animation Xpress Asia Pacific, Kantika Aungprateep, Deputy Manager,International Marketing Department, SIPA shared, “The objective of this event is to create a strong collaboration between Thai and Japanese companies in digital content industry through the support from the government like SIPA and DEP. For this event, the Software Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA) is jointly organizing with the Department of Export Promotion (DEP), Thai Trade Center Osaka, and Digital Content Association of Japan (DCAJ)..
She further continued, “Now, we have 17 companies from Japan joining our event. There are 7 companies from Osaka and 8 companies from Tokyo. We are also inviting all Thai digital content companies to join the business matching.

Thailand and Japan have a long-term relationship together. There have been many collaboration projects between Thailand and Japan including several outsourcing projects.

She concluded by sharing, “We hope to have new collaboration projects between Thailand and Japan in the near future to serve the market. We also wish to extend our good network with all Japanese companies in many other ways to create a strong collaboration in the long run.
